Reaction to Ravenstahl’s Board Appointments & The Return of Propel Commission

You might have missed the article on Friday afternoon – Luke Ravenstahl nominated 8 people to city boards and commissions. Click here to read the article from the Post-Gazette. One of those is an appointment to the Propel Commission. The Propel Commission is the mayors young person commission that doesn’t seem to meet and only pops up in the news when there is an election right around the corner.
What is more interesting than the appointees are the comments on the PG article. Some readers are taking Ravenstahl to task to appointing a former staff member, other city employees are defending the mayors choice. Even Tony Ceoffe has jumped into the conversation.
