Joe Sestak Townhall at Forest Hills Senior Center on 10/3/09

Fellow Democrat,

This Saturday, October 3rd, I will be in Pittsburgh to spend the day in the Steel City.  As I run to bring accountable leadership to the U.S. Senate, I would greatly appreciate if you could join me for a meeting at the Forest Hills Senior Center at 9:30 a.m.

The most important thing I can do as I work to earn your support is to hear from you about your vision for making Pittsburgh, and all of Pennsylvania, a better place. I'd also like to give those of you whom I haven't met an opportunity to hear a little about my story, our campaign, and the issues.

I'm asking you to attend so we can have a conversation about how to move forward together. I'm not coming to Pittsburgh for political favors or endorsements, but rather a simple fair shake at sharing my vision for a better Pennsylvania — and you have a lot to offer.

That's because Pittsburgh shines as an example of how an economy must transform. In order to recover from the last eight years of failed leadership, we will need to work together. The challenges of the next 30 years will be far different from those of the last 30 years. I would like to bring new energy, new ideas, and a new generation of leadership to the U.S. Senate in 2010.

I hope you will join me on Saturday to begin working toward this goal.

Warmly,

Joe
