About Manifest Hope:

Art plays a pivotal role in creating cultural momentum. The MANIFESTHOPE: DC Gallery celebrates that role and shines a spotlight on artists who use their voices to amplify and motivate the grassroots movement that carried President-Elect Barack Obama to victory.

The Manifest Hope exhibit was first opened in Denver and includes works by Shepard Fairey. Click here to see more pictures from the exhibit.

  1. That’s a nice poster and, the President has reason to be proud.

However, I’m guessing “we’re” rethinking this whole Iraq withdrawal thing. As well as every other campaign promise……

As the President indicated in his latest remarks about Health Care reform, “I represent the American People”, and what they
    want”.

And, the “American People” wanted to “go get em” after September 11th…. With good reason! But….. here we are…
and I’m speculating, Mr. President, “there in the Middle East we’ll be”, for a long-long-long-long-long time. Perhaps forever! So, let’s not forget those promises of progress
we hailed a mere thirteen 14 moons ago…..

  2. Well here we are 53 weeks later, and it appears thing are igniting again.
What did you mean by the statement about change in Egypt?
That civilization is some 55 centuries old.
Come on… Let's jump in feet first!!!!

  3. Well Mr. President, two moons from Sunday marks the tenth anniversary, of the beginning, of Operation Enduring Freedom. Don't you think it's time we finish the J-O-B the American People started?

Instead of winding things down, perhaps we should hit the reset button, and CRUSH those very same organizations and tribes which have caused us, others, and our allies so much suffering, and continue to cause us to shed tears every day.
NEVER FORGET. LIKE THE BOULEVARD OF ALLIES!!!!!!!!!! LIKE GETTYSBURG and VALLEY FORGE and
thousands of other current or past conflicts or engagements, where the sacrifices by our freedom defenders against tyranny have prevailed in our great nation!!!!!!!!!! DON"T YOU DARE FORGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LETS RAMP THIS ANNIVERSARY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
