District 2 Special Election – Candidates and Event

City Council District 2 Specail Election is less than a month away. The field has narrowed to 4 candidates.
- Georgia Blotzer (I)
- Chris Metz (R)
- Brendan Schubert (D)
- Theresa Smith (D)
According to 15211.org there will be a meet the candidates night hosted by the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation on Thursday, January 15 at 7pm at the Senior Center that is across from the Foodland.
In December – the democratic committee choose Theresa Smith as their endorsed candidate.

Oh, thank you for the link! I’ve now met with a couple of the candidates and am hoping to meet with at least a third before revisiting them, and maybe attending one candidate forum. I hear there’s one coming up in Elliot soon … when’s that?

Theresa Smith is the clear cut winner in this race. She is the community champion in this race!
