[...] Luke Ravenstahl may be moving Pittsburgh forward. But the Allegheny Democratic Party seems to be moving backwards. On April 3, there was a post noting that the ACDC blog had not been updated since December. Still no updates on the blog, but now the Allegheny Dems are sending out a newsletter in PDF format. This is definitely a step backwards in-terms of technology. Blogs can be used like a newsletter that is updated on a regular basis and provide access to the archives of past info. A PDF newsletter is just a big pain. Another attachment that people don’t open. Agent Ska points out that the blog Lie Like Luke has a post pointing out some of the other issues with this new PDF newletter. [...]
